If you have gold jewelry, you can often take the pieces to a jewelry store who may be interested in buying them for resale if they aren’t scrap gold. Most jewelry shops want pieces that they can easily repair to resell.
Coin shops are always interested in any coins you may have to offer whether it’s strictly for the face value or the scrap gold value. And there are pawnshops which should always be a last resort since they often tend to give you the lowest price possible when you have gold to sell.
